St Aloysius College was founded in 1951 and is situated in the Jabalpur Cantonment area. The College is named after St. Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron Saint of the college, who harbored a burning desire to serve God and his fellowmen. College provides courses on arts, commerce, science and management disciplines. St. Aloysius College bestowed two National Awards among all the Christian Colleges in the country in 2001.

I am deeply honored and pleased to intimate you all; that St. Aloysius College was in the National limelight in 2001 when it was bestowed two National Awards among all the Christian Colleges in the country. On 16 August 2001, the College was conferred the Dr. P. S. Job Memorial Award for Innovative Educational Programs for the year 2001.

The College Library is well equipped with books and periodicals dealing with diverse topics of interest specially suited to student. In the era of Information Technology (IT) Information is a vital asset. The college has a Internet Centre which enables our students to access valuable updated and current information.

St Aloysius College has undertaken many social and research & development works and assisting a large number of people in association with Electronic society of Jabalpur, Cultural society, Economic Forum, Rotract Club, Literact Club, Women Cell Organization, JIRF, Chemical Society and Science Club.

 Community College

The St. Aloysius Community College is a confederation of three community colleges, College Campus, Satyalayam Mahila Jagriti Kendra and Jogni Gramin Swarozgar Kendra. As a measure of serving the society, St. Aloysius College, Jabalpur has taken an initiative to start this project for the underprivileged who are not able to gain life supporting skills due to lack of resources and proper direction.
